Tomoaki Sato is a NY based hairstylist born in Japan. He dreamed of becoming a hairstylist at the tender age of 13. While attending high school, Tomo began to embark on his hair stylist journey by working in a hair salon. He then made the shift to fashion hair stylist after 10 years in the industry. 

Tomo’s work has been published in the likes of VOGUE, Harper’s Bazaar, ELLE, L’Officiel, GRAZIA, Marie Claire, NYLON, GQ, Office Magazine, along with many other international publications. 

He was also awarded the prize of New York Hairstylist of the Year in 2021.
